Bloody Run is a Pittsburgh based band formed in March 2022 by The True Pyromancer and Jesse (Doom Trooper) Bukera (Vocalist/Lead Guitar and Bass Guitar respectively.) After multiple lineup changes and the release of their first demo, Seth (Warhammer) Collins joined the band in early 2023, solidifying the current lineup.
In May 2023, the band release their second demo, The Revenge. The power trio would gain notoriety in Pittsburgh's local scene after open for Possessed later that same month. Later that fall, Bloody Run recorded their debut album.
Bloody Run's debut album will release on July 5th 2024 via Jems Label. With elements of Thrash Metal, Death Metal, Black Metal, and Grindcore: Decapitate The Tyrant features 10 tracks, and clocking in at just over 17 minutes.The album comes off as fast, vicious, and at times, unsettling. The release features thrashy, tremolo-picked guitar riffs, prominent bass guitar, and pulsating, rapid-fire drums. The compositions are chock-full of dynamic vocal styles, ranging from deep gutturals to blackened screams. With themes of genocide, war, and anti-establishment, the lyrics are telling of real-world events, past and present. Bloody Run has created a stir in Pittsburgh's underground scene, setting themselves apart from the more dominant Metallic Hardcore acts. As a result, a growing following of loyal fans continuously attend Bloody Run's energetic live performances.
